Head Teacher: Mrs. Bowen

My name is Kristin Bowen, and I was raised here in Pierre, SD.  I graduated with an Early Childhood Degree.  I have been working with children for over 25 years.  I have been a preschool teacher, daycare teacher, Head Start teacher and an aide in the Pierre School District. Working in the Pierre School District I have a lot of connections with teachers and love to collaborate with them to make sure that we are getting ready to go to Kindergarten.   I have taught in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and Pierre.  I moved back to Pierre in 2011.  I am married and have 3 children of my own.  I love being back to the town I was raised in!  I am excited to be back in preschool again and teach!  I love to keep up on training so I can grow along with all the changes!  I look forward to meeting all the new families!

My name is Kelsey Skoglund and I was born and raised here in Pierre. I am married and have a two year old daughter. My most recent employment was with the Pierre School District working as a first grade teacher’s aide. I have a strong passion for working with children, watching them learn and grow, I find the whole process an amazing and rewarding experience.
